I watched the game with Joni and my parents. I had a shit, cheap Aussie shirt on that my sister-in-law-to-be bought me before I left. The Convic... sorry, Aussies deserved something out of the game, definitely. Might help if Kewell wasn't such a poofter. He bottled a golden chance at 1-0 because he was afraid of getting hurt. I saw that game, and when I saw the guy shove the .au goalie out of the way, I totally thought, "NO! This is only happening because TYD is watching! ARGH!" ....Not really. I share your jinx with the Losing Team Syndrome. Luckily, with my 2005-06 hockey season, either the Blue Jackets were good enough to overcome my bad luck, or I watched enough games that my bad mojo supply was depleted. Going straight from hockey season into football playoffs, I don't think the Losing Team Syndrome has a chance to come back.

I'm more than willing to do exactly the same - although only if England win tomorrow of course! I can't be supporting you lot getting further than us. Geez, I'd never hear the end of it.
Although Joni and I were talking about going up to the City centre and watching it in the 'Walkabout Bar'. We went up there on Australia Day this year and were promptly served by... 'Kiwi Nick'. Hmmm.
